1. ALL HE'S EVER BEEN IS HOLY.
Sometimes we think that God is holy just because we make Him that way, or place Him there with our praises. But God has always been Holy. Before we could even speak, He was Holy. And He'll always be Holy. With this thought in mind, I sat down with Joel Lindsay and Val Dacus and penned this new song.
2. HE OUGHT TO BE A DEAD MAN
This "NEW" song was actually written 30 years ago! But for this album I went back through my entire catalog of songs looking for things that hadn't been recorded. I found this little gem, from my days at Centergy Music. It talks about how they saw the risen Jesus and thought, I saw Him die and placed in the ground. He Ought To Be A Dead Man was written with Charles Isbelle.
3. IN LESS THAN A MOMENT
This was written about 12 years ago. And though the song was not yet recorded, I sent it to the family who lost their only son. A few years before that, their only daughter had died at a young age. Dealing with the double loss of their children, the song seem to bring comfort. Just to know that all of the suffering we endure here, and the questions "why" that we have in this life, will vanish away In Less Than A Moment, after we see Jesus face to face. The song was written with Ben Storie.1. ALL HE'S EVER BEEN IS HOLY.
